"They say to marry your best friend and we absolutely did!"

We first met in a Texas Roadhouse in 2012. Justin saw Brittany working as a hostess and quickly became a regular. He came in every Friday to see her. After their first date it was all history! We tied the knot in 2015.

Our friends and family joke that we are the same person and always describe us as calm. Our home is a very peaceful, playful environment that is an oasis from the outside world; it's our home-base. Its the place we always want to come back to at the end of the day or after a long trip. Our home is always full of good food, fun times, and creativity. On any given weekend you'll find Justin in the shop building and Brittany in the kitchen baking.

We also take walks around our neighborhood every day, chatting with our neighbors and enjoying the cobble streets. The holidays are the BEST around here when everyone decorates.

Both of our families live here and can't wait for the new addition to the family. Brittany's parents even bought the house right next door! We have 14 nieces and nephews and 2 godchildren between the ages of still in the oven to 18. They can't wait to meet their new cousin!

Justin is the best person I known. He is my best friend and I am so incredibly blessed that he is my husband. He has a knack for bringing out the best in people. He is very calm and nurturing but when it's time to have fun he is the life of the party. His personality is so playful and fun, you can't help but enjoy your time with him.

He is incredibly supportive. If you tell him you have an idea or want to try something new he will be the first person encouraging you to go after it. He is so good at creating a safe environment to be yourself, ask questions, and learn new things. You can always count on him to be there for you, whether he's rooting from the sidelines or in the trenches with you, he is the best person to have on your team.

Justin is entirely selfless, everything he does is to support us and help create a better life for ourselves and future generations. He will be the first person volunteering to make sacrifices so we can have a better life. He is always learning new things and growing as a person. I know I already said it but he really is the best person I know.

Brittany has always astonished me with her kindness and selflessness by putting in real effort to prioritize the comfort and wellbeing of the people around her. Brittany has a very calming and nurturing personality that makes our home very peaceful, and a place I always want to return to.

You want to talk about good food? Brittany is an amazing cook and baker, and loves to feed people. She is very adventurous with trying new recipes from all over, and of course all the classic comfort-food recipes. It is very normal to see Brittany spending a whole Saturday making pancakes from scratch, baking a loaf of bread, testing a new dinner recipe, and making dessert to top it off. I guarantee nobody could go hungry in our house.

Brittany has a very fun and silly sense of humor. She is truly not afraid to be herself and let her authentic personality come through. I also love how adventurous she is and willing to create the next memory. From exploring the mountains of Thailand, to enjoying the views on top of the Austrian Alps, Brittany is the one to say "LET'S DO THIS".

"We have been to 13 countries and counting."

One of our passions is traveling the world together. We even became over the road truck drivers for two years. It allowed us to travel the United States and Canada as a team. We most recently visited London with our niece for her high school graduation. We consider ourselves explorers, not vacationers. There is always something new to see around the next bend. No time for relaxing on the beach! We have so many places we want to see. Traveling has opened our eyes to new cultures, foods, and ideas. It has shown us just how small and connected the world around us is. It has helped us to not get so caught up in the little things and to remember that there are so many different ways to experience life.

"Meet Brittany's parents!"

They are Papa & Nana to 11 grandbabies, including twins! Their hands are always full, and they can't wait to keep adding to the clan. Papa loves to nap, and Nana always has arts and crafts going.

Brittany grew up in a home with an open door! Her parents fostered and adopted children throughout her childhood and always had a full house. As a result, adoption has been on her heart since a young age.

"Meet Justin's Mom!"

She is Grandma to 3 grandbabies and is so excited to meet the newest addition. She loves sewing adorable creatures and making beautiful quilts for everyone in the family!

Justin grew up in a family where "it takes a village"! She has always worked extremely hard to provide for her family. She is always taking care of everyone around her, and because of this, Justin has a super close-knit family who are always there for each other.

• Cooking & Baking We cook together every day and bring home recipes from all over the world! Brittany has been baking since she was a kid and enjoys trying new recipes.
• Game night with friends. We have a game night with our friends and family at least once a month.
• Movie marathons in the fall & winter, we always re-watch Harry Potter and The Lord of The Rings. It's also a tradition to set up our Christmas tree while watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
• Antiquing We love to walk around a good antique store with our favorite coffee.
• Camping We built our own camper! We love camping in New Mexico and Colorado.
• Being Creative, Justin enjoys woodworking and building in his shop, while Brittany enjoys designing and painting art.
