While we cannot fully understand what this journey has been like for you, we recognize the incredible care and love that goes into considering an adoption plan for your child.

We also believe it is important for a child to understand their story and know how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. Your role in that story will always be treated with honesty, compassion, and respect.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to share our hearts and a glimpse into our lives with you.

Becoming parents has been a deep desire for both of us. Adoption has always been the path we envisioned for growing our family, and we feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to pursue it. We have built a life filled with love, stability, laughter, and support, and we are excited to share that with a child. We have so much love to give and look forward to providing a home where a child feels safe and encouraged to become the person they are meant to be.

We met in 2014 while volunteering on a ski trip in Colorado through an organization we both work with that supports children with cancer. From the very beginning, we connected through our ability to have fun together and our love for helping others. We began dating shortly after that trip and quickly realized we had found something special in one another.

In 2015, we were married and started building the life we had always hoped for. In 2018, we moved to Seattle and lived there for a few years. We love that area and developed a great community, but in 2023 we decided to move back home to Texas to be closer to our families and have a child of our own.

Over the years, we have grown even closer through life's adventures, challenges, and everyday moments. Adam works in the medical field, and Emily works in a nonprofit. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, relaxing at home, and making memories together.

A very important part of our family is our 10-year-old chihuahua, Macy. She is a spunky, fun-loving girl who absolutely loves people and cuddling with us. Macy brings so much joy and personality into our home. Our nieces especially love when we bring her around because they enjoy carrying, cuddling, and playing with her.

Adam is a strong provider and incredibly hard-working. He always goes above and beyond to make sure the people in his life are cared for and supported. He is fiercely loyal and deeply values relationships. His closest friendships extend back many years because once he connects with someone, he is intentional about investing in that relationship and making time for the people he cares about.

I also love Adam's humor and silliness. He brings joy and laughter into our home every single day. I can usually expect to hear him singing a random song loudly from another room or dancing around the house when music comes on. He has a way of making ordinary moments fun and memorable.

My favorite thing about Adam is the way he constantly makes me and the people around him feel loved. He is deliberate with his words and actions. I know without a doubt that he will bring much love, encouragement, and laughter into the life of a child.

Emily is the most loving person I have ever met; she has such a genuine empathy and compassion for other people. I admire how intentional she is in her relationships. She remembers the small things that matter to people, checks in on friends and family often, and always makes time for the people she loves. Whether it is planning a thoughtful gift, making someone a meal, or simply being there to listen, she consistently shows others how much they mean to her.

Emily also brings so much laughter and fun into our home. She has a playful sense of humor. Whether we are joking around in the kitchen, laughing during a car ride, or spending time with family, she brings joy wherever she goes.

She is also an amazing cook -- I honestly have never had a bad meal that she has made. She loves bringing people together around the table, and some of my favorite memories are simply being at home enjoying a meal together.

We love the home and neighborhood we have built our life in, and we feel so grateful to be surrounded by such a warm and family-centered community. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac in a neighborhood filled with young families. We have great schools nearby that our child will go to.

One of our favorite things about our neighborhood is how connected everyone is. There is a pool just down the road, an ear by the playground, and a small pond for fishing. We also love that another family in our neighborhood has adopted children, which makes our community feel even more special and supportive.

Our neighborhood has wonderful traditions throughout the year. On Halloween, everyone gathers for a big block party where neighbors make fun foods, sit outside together handing out candy, and celebrate while the kids ride a little train through the neighborhood. It is such a fun and joyful time that perfectly reflects the sense of community here.

Inside our home, we have been excitedly preparing for a child to join our family. We recently finished setting up a nursery, and it has quickly become one of our favorite rooms in the house. It has a Chronicles of Narnia theme, and creating it together has made this journey feel even more real and exciting for us.

Adam and his dad are both proud former students of Texas A&M University. Attending Texas A&M sporting events has long been a cherished family tradition. Since Emily joined the family, she has enthusiastically embraced this tradition as well. Whether it's football, baseball, or basketball, we love cheering on the Aggies together.

Emily's family believes that every occasion is worth celebrating. Even the smallest milestone can become a joyful gathering filled with barbecue, card games, darts, and favorite family games like marbles (also known as joker) and frustration.

Emily's family is also a big Disney family. Over the years, we have taken many Disney vacations that have created some of our most treasured memories.

One of our favorite things to do is travel. We love exploring new places together and have been fortunate to visit many cities across the United States as well as several countries abroad.

We are both incredibly blessed to come from very close-knit families who are loving, supportive, and excited to welcome a child into our lives.

Adam's parents, Charles and Lana, live nearby and are very involved in our lives. They are caring, dependable, and always willing to help however they can. Adam is also very close with his brother, Ben. Ben and his wife live within an hour of us and recently welcomed their first son into the family.

Emily's family is equally loving and welcoming. Her parents, Thomas and Samantha, are two of the most giving people we know. Growing up, if one of Emily's friends ever needed a place to stay or extra support, they were always welcomed into their home with open arms. Emily has two siblings, Christina and Jacob, who are both married, and she also grew up very close with her cousin, Brittany, who lived in their home for many years.

Between both of our siblings, we have three nieces and two nephews, all still very young. We love that our future child will grow up surrounded by cousins close in age.

I love spending time with Uncle Adam and Aunt Emily. They take me to fun places like the movies and the park. They are always kind to me, and we have a lot of fun together. I like playing Mario Kart with them, and they make me laugh and feel happy. I always enjoy being with them.

I like spending time with Uncle Adam and Aunt Emily. We went to the movies and watched Hoppers. Uncle Adam is funny, and Aunt Emily is very kind. One of my favorite memories is going on rides at Disneyland with Aunt Emily. We had so much fun together. They are caring and make spending time with them special. We love Uncle Adam and Aunt Emily and enjoy being with them.

We hope to raise a child in a home where they feel deeply loved, supported, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves.

We look forward to being actively involved in our child's life by attending school events, performances, games, and other important milestones. We also want to create a home where our child feels comfortable talking with us about their friendships, challenges, and accomplishments.

We are open to an open adoption and believe that maintaining a connection with a child's birth family can be very meaningful and beneficial. Any level of openness would always be guided by what is in the child's best interest and supports their emotional well-being.
