We feel so fortunate that you've taken a moment to learn a bit more about our growing family. However, before we get into ourselves, we want to acknowledge the journey you've taken to get to this booklet. We know that journey has likely been, at times, overwhelming and emotional, with complicated questions and daunting answers. We can't even begin to imagine the whirlwind of emotions you must be feeling, but we have great empathy and are in awe of the strength it's taken for you to walk this path thus far.

Our promise to you is that if you choose to place your child in our care, our love and support for them will know no bounds. They will be a part of a family that crosses two continents, will cheer them on during the good and the bad, and is unwaveringly devoted to love for each other. But, most of all, they'll be part of a family that was built on warmth, empathy, support, and camaraderie. They will know of the great path that led them to us and the incredible people who made that possible.

We are honored to be among the adoptive parents that you are considering and are thankful that our book has been placed in your loving hands.

We have so much respect for the brave and loving choice you are making by considering adoption. We do not know your journey or the plans you are making, but we hope that you will share it with us. We will do our best, through these pictures and words, to introduce you to us and our family. We have been on a journey to grow our family for a while now, and we hope that you will become a part of it. We are here to answer any questions that you might have, and we know that you will make the choice that is right for you.

We appreciate how scary this whole process must be, and we want you to know that we are here to support you in whatever way we can.

Hello! We are Jamie and Matt. We have dual nationalities (America and England). We enjoy our lake life in Massachusetts.

We are grateful for your consideration and admire your strength. Our hearts are full of hope as we share our story with you.

We may not have met you, but you are already amongst the bravest people we've known. You've found yourself facing adversity and challenges, and you've tackled them head-on. There are no right answers to this situation you find yourself in, but you are forging your way regardless, making the best of it. We cannot imagine how difficult it is, and we support you completely whatever decision you make, however, you choose to proceed.

To us, family is very important. They give us joy in times of darkness, and strength in times of need. Family isn't the people who share a name with you, it's the people who are there when you need them, and we can only hope that you are well supported.

We may not know you, but we'd love to meet you and we'd be honored if the stars aligned and you selected us to adopt your child; a child who would grow up knowing the incredible person you are.
