The desire to become parents has always come from a shared belief that family is built through love, commitment, and showing up for one another every single day. We are honored you are taking the time to look at our profile. We understand the choices before you may be difficult and overwhelming and we have so much admiration for you as you make these difficult decisions for you and your family. About a year after we were married we decided to start trying to grow our family. We quickly learned how incredibly heart breaking and difficult that process can be. After years of treatments, doctors, and loss we decided to take a step back. We took a two year break to heal and pray about our future. Adoption was always something we had talked about and it was still heavy on our hearts so we decided it was time to take the leap! Here we are; Praying for our future child and so ready to shower them with all the love and cuddles we have to offer.

We know that the choice you're making by considering adoption for your child is an incredibly difficult decision to make. You are being loving and brave to make that decision for your child.

We truly feel called to adoption as the path to expand our family. Our experiences working with kids in education and the foster system made us want to join hands with a courageous mother in making an adoption plan for her child. We have wanted to grow our family for years. We tried fertility treatments at the specialist from 2019 to 2022 with no luck. We decided to get a second opinion, and our world turned upside down. Joani got diagnosed with endometrial cancer. The treatment options were to have the tumor removed, monitor, and hope it wouldn't come back, or have a hysterectomy. I told Joani that it was ultimately her decision, but we didn't need to have biological children to love them. She had her surgery in March of 2023, and has just hit the two-year mark of being cancer-free! Since her surgery, we took some time and looked into fostering and adoption. We thought and prayed on it, and found Gladney. I may not be a parent yet, but I am eager to learn. Joani will make a great mom and can't wait for the opportunity to complete our family. We thank you for considering us.
