Hello! We are Braden, Jordan, and Charlie (our dog) and we are excited to share love and belongingness with a new member of our family. We both work in education and live in an amazing, supportive, and diverse community that shares our values. A few things to know about us:

Family: We love and are embraced by our families. As a central part of our lives, they are excited to welcome a new member(s).

Education: We are both educators and believe in making sure all children are provided opportunities for the best education.

Fun/Celebrations/Friends: Our community is everything and the time we spend with others is a continual celebration of our differences and friendships that make our day-to-day lives even better.

We know you are potentially facing difficult decisions right now as you consider the possibility of adoption. We feel lucky you've read this far and hope you know how appreciative we are.

You are such an answered prayer for us! We don't know all of the circumstances that brought you to create an adoption plan for your son or daughter, but your selflessness is so cherished. We are humbled beyond measure to have you consider us as parents and know we will raise your child in a God-centered, loving family with SO much support!

We don't know you, but we have thought about you. We're not sure if you'll choose us to become a part of your child's story--your story-- but we want you to know that we respect you and think you are brave. The decision you are working on is one of courage, selflessness, and strength. We imagine that this is a difficult time for you. But we also know that with whatever family you choose, you'll be making a family whole.

We can't know how you're feeling, but we hope that after reading this, you can feel some strength and pride in your journey. We hope you are feeling supported and loved in your decision-making.

We want nothing more than to have a baby, become parents, and raise a family. We've also learned that it's the twists, surprises, and messiness of our stories that makes us vibrant, interesting, and beautiful at the end of the day. Adoption is hard, but it is also vibrant, messy, and beautiful. Dear Expectant Parent,

We both have reflected on our experiences with adoption as we were writing to you and thinking about your family. While reflecting, Stacie and I spoke about one of her childhood friends who was adopted. She always wondered why her friend's birth parents had placed her for adoption. We talked about how she quickly learned the bravery and strength that the birth parents had to have made such a loving choice to place their daughter for adoption. Even though it was a closed adoption, Stacie's friend found her birth parents when she was 18 and has a great relationship with them to this day. We both believe that family is created in all kinds of ways and at different points in life. We both have seen the way that adoption has created families into our adult life through experiences with other friends and co-workers. We are both so grateful for your courage and whatever decision your make, and we have so much respect for you and your family and support system. We can't wait to get to know you and to create whatever our version of family our journey together will look like.
